Practice Areas
Kristina Porcar is the owner and attorney of Porcar Law. Her dream has been to own her own business, and she founded her firm to develop personal, collaborative relationships with clients, offering legal counsel that supports them both personally and professionally.
Kristina practices exclusively in the areas of Estate Planning, Business Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate.
Kristina began her law career more than 17 years ago as an administration professional at an AmLaw 200 California-born firm. Over the years, she has honed her skills in her areas of expertise, progressing from a paralegal to a law clerk, and eventually to a practicing attorney.
While attending the University of California, Davis, Kristina focused on philosophy courses in logic, and art history courses in critical thinking and analysis. These courses supplemented her research and writing studies and her fundamental education in human behavior required for her Psychology major. The skills she developed in close-reading, critical thinking, effective writing, and logic served her well during her legal education at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and throughout her career. During law school, she served as Secretary of the Tax Law Society, worked pro bono in the Elder Law Clinic, and earned a law degree with a double concentration in business and tax law.
Clients have described Kristina as warm, down-to-earth, professional, and accessible in her working style. Her approachable manner enables her to connect with clients on a personal level. She provides trustworthy legal advice, along with a candid and realistic assessment of each client’s situation.
Kristina holds herself to extremely high standards of professional and personal excellence, particularly in communication and ethical behavior. She strives to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients through a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, thorough research of relevant issues, a vigorously proactive approach, and genuine compassion.
Kristina grew up in the Roseville, CA area and has resided in the Sacramento region all her life. She loves this area and the people who make up this diverse and thriving region.
In her free time, Kristina enjoys spending time with her husband and her two kids. She loves traveling, gardening, reading, swimming, boating, coffee, and being outdoors as much as possible.
